Day 1.5: Bergen

After a quick bus tour of scenic Bergen with quaint European houses lining the mountainside and green everywhere we headed to "Bryggeloftet & Stuene" for a wonderful dinner. Everyone received small tureens of a creamy fish flavored soup and complementary flatbread. The main dish was melt-in-your-mouth salmon in a buttery sauce with small salt potatoes. Finishing up this deluxe meal was a slice of chocolate mousse cake with vanilla sauce. Afterwards we shopped briefly in the rain before heading to a rehearsal at the Teachers College. Our day finally finished we headed back to the youth hostel for some well-earned sleep.
